The role focuses on building a platform to streamline mortgage lending workflows and to bridge business needs with application delivery, validation, and production readiness.

You will collaborate across stakeholders and technical teams to drive requirements, automation, and resilient release processes while supporting disaster recovery and governance practices.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of related experience in IT App Support, IT Development, IT Networking, or similar fields.
• Experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, HuLoop, Playwright, JMeter, or similar tools.
• Bachelor's degree in related field required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements for AmeriHome applications.
• Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, test scenarios, and validation plans.
• Support release readiness by coordinating testing, validating changes in lower environments, and confirming production readiness.
• Support disaster recovery and operational resilience activities, including DR validation and DNS migration readiness.
• Lead and support test automation strategy and execution across AmeriHome applications.

What you'll do:

Come join the AmeriHome's team, a Western Alliance Bank company, as Staff Engineer of the Data Services team. We're building a cutting-edge platform designed to streamline and enhance business workflows in the mortgage lending space. As part of a dynamic and growing team, you'll help shape the software that drives our evolving business needs.
The Senior Technical Business Systems Analyst will support AmeriHome Technology by bridging business needs, application delivery, production validation, disaster recovery readiness, system integration planning, and test automation. This role is responsible for working across business stakeholders, application teams, infrastructure partners, security teams, and release management teams to analyze requirements, document technical and business impacts, support validation activities, and ensure application changes are ready for production use.

• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business, functional, technical, integration, and validation requirements for AmeriHome applications.
• Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, test scenarios, validation plans, and implementation support documentation.
• Support application release readiness by coordinating testing, reviewing impacts, validating changes in lower environments, and confirming production readiness.
• Support disaster recovery and operational resilience activities, including DR validation, DNS migration coordination, F5 DNS migration readiness, application testing, and plan documentation.
• Leading and support test automation strategy and execution across AmeriHome applications, including regression coverage planning, automation backlog management, and validation of automated test outcomes. Maintain documentation for application behavior, test plans, release validation, operational procedures, and support handoff.

What you'll need:

• 7+ years of related experience in IT App Support, IT Development, IT Networking, or similar fields.
• Bachelor's degree in related field required.
• Experience in financial services, mortgage technology, banking technology, or regulated enterprise IT environments.
• Experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, HuLoop, Playwright, JMeter, or similar tools.
• Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines, CI/CD validation, release readiness, and environment troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with DR testing, F5 DNS, Cloudflare, Application Certificates, API Authentication, or infrastructure dependencies.
• Advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
• Advanced proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously. Additional experience with pipeline development and leveraging Azure DevOps while working on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Intermediate to advanced ability to see the big picture and align projects with organizational goals. Capable of leading and motivating cross-functional teams. Expertise in resolving conflicts and addressing challenges as well as skilled at identifying and mitigating risks at the project level. Proficient in governance patterns tied to intake, technical reviews and architectural compliance.
• Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
• May require up to 25% travel.
