Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Staff Engineer for the Global Payments Network in a cloud‑native environment. You will join a community of experts to advance a low‑latency, secure payments platform capable of handling complex money movement across rails, domestically and internationally.

You will collaborate with senior engineers, ML experts, product managers, and leaders to accelerate modernization of Capital One's Digital Payments platform and to develop new capabilities in this space.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related field.
• 7+ years in general software development and architecture.
• 10+ years coding in commonly used languages (Java, Python, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, Swift).
• 3+ years of public or private cloud technologies.
• Experience with interactive AI tooling is a plus.
