Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Staff Engineer for the GPN Digital Payments Technology organization. The role focuses on designing, building, and operating high-volume, low-latency systems in a cloud-native environment, with emphasis on security, performance, and reliability.

You will work with engineers, ML experts, product managers, and leaders to accelerate modernization to the cloud and develop new capabilities for digital payments, including tokenization infrastructure and AI-enabled tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 7+ years in general software engineering and solution architecture.
• 10+ years coding in Java, Python, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, Swift, etc.
