Staff Engineer, Frontend – Domains Growth

Job Description

The Squarespace Domains Growth organization is looking for a Frontend Staff Software Engineer to lead large initiatives and develop the technical strategy for our platforms. Squarespace Domains supports millions of Domains customers – a community of dreamers, entrepreneurs, and pro-level users all seeking to establish their online presence – you’ll work on products used by millions, with a direct and measurable impact on their success.

As an engineer in the Domains Growth organization, you will be part the effort to build several core capabilities in the domain space including: Front Site Landing Page for Squarespace Domains and other traffic entry points, domain search, reseller opportunities, pricing strategy, cross-sell, conversion, checkout, and other growth areas in premium and expired domains. You will collaborate closely with engineering, product and design to build systems that focus on increasing revenue, customer acquisition, and conversion. This is a hybrid role working from our New York City office 3 days per week and you will report into the Domains Growth Engineering Manager.

• Serve as a key technical leader, driving the architecture, design, and implementation of critical frontend systems and client platforms

Cash Compensation Range: $185,500 – $299,000 USD

The base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant skills, experience, and location, among other factors.

In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and, where applicable for eligible roles, may include overtime pay), Squarespace employees are eligible to be granted an option to purchase our common stock. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive structure in addition to base salary.
