Arcadia, a leader in energy intelligence, is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for our Energy Analytics Squad. This role involves building web API and data pipeline solutions that contribute to electricity cost modeling and battery performance simulations.

The position requires collaboration across teams and a strong understanding of software engineering principles, with a focus on REST APIs, data science, and strategic AI implementation. The expected compensation ranges between $165,000 to $295,000 annually.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software development experience at a SaaS or technology company.
• Experience building REST APIs.
• Experience with Python and enterprise Java.
• Experience building SQL data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Make meaningful contributions to the electricity cost modeling RESTful API.
• Build out DBT data pipelines that simulate electricity costs nationwide.
• Translate product and SME requirements into engineering-ready designs.
