Job summary

Rehlko is seeking a Staff Engineer – Electrical & Controls to design, develop, and implement electrical components and software for engine control systems. You will work on sensors, actuators, wiring, controllers, and calibration using MATLAB/Simulink and model-based approaches.

The role requires 6+ years in automotive or powertrain development, strong CANBUS knowledge, and experience with software-in-the-loop or hardware-in-the-loop testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Computer/Mechanical Eng with embedded systems focus.
• 6+ years in automotive, powertrain or similar system development.
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow for modeling and analysis.
• Knowledge of CANBUS and electronic test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement electrical components and software for engine control systems.
• Develop hardware and software for engine fuel injection and control systems; use model-based tools.
• Create test specs and verification plans; perform testing and validation.
• Provide system updates for performance tuning and usability; support hardware/software integration.
