Job summary

Agropur is seeking a Staff Engineer - SME Dryers to join the Drying Systems team. This role provides enterprise technical authority for spray drying and related processes, leading design, operation, and optimization across the dairy network.

The successful candidate will guide capital projects, establish standards, ensure hygienic design, and drive energy efficiency while collaborating across facilities. A strong engineering background and dairy processing knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (ChE preferred).
• 10+ years experience in membrane system process engineering and/or capital project development/execution.
• Experience developing technical standards and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical reviews of major capital projects involving drying technologies (spray drying, fluid bed, etc.).
• Provide technical leadership for spray dryers, fluid bed dryers/coolers, and powder handling systems.
• Establish and promote best practices for food safety and hygienic design in drying systems.
