Job summary

Sirius XM Radio LLC in Lewisville, TX is seeking a Staff Engineer, DevSecOps to design, implement and maintain highly available, automated infrastructure as part of CI/CD pipelines. You will lead IaC and cloud-native deployments on AWS, building scalable automation and secure workflows.

You will collaborate with engineering to migrate to cloud infrastructure, deliver secure software via DevOps practices, and mentor teams in tools like Jenkins, GitHub, SonarQube, Snyk, and Wiz.io while applying

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree with progressive DevOps experience.
• Experience delivering software solutions with DevOps and CI/CD tools.
• Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services and microservices.
• Familiarity with ITIL, security and compliance.

Staff Engineer, DevSecOps - (employer: Sirius XM Radio LLC; job location: Lewisville, TX) -

Develop, establish and maintain highly available environments driven by automation and DevOps strategy. Design, enable, and deliver scalable and automated strategy (Infrastructure-as-Code) as part of CI/CD pipelines. Design and build new CI/CD pipelines that are fully executed with common workflows, automation and rollbacks on AWS Cloud services. Provide training in and support of fully automated CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments and regions. Partner with engineering organization to drive conversion projects to cloud infrastructure. Requirements: Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering (Computer or Electronics), plus three years of experience in the position offered or as Software Engineer or Application Development Analyst or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering (Computer or Electronics), plus five years of progressive post-Bachelor's experience in the position offered or as Software Engineer or Application Development Analyst. All required experience must have included: delivering software solutions with DevOps and CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Maven, GitHub, SonarQube, Snyk and Wiz.io; using Atlassian JIRA defect tracking service; applying principles of DevOps, ITIL, cloud services, IT infrastructure and operations, including environment standup, server builds, firewalls, security and compliance; scripting with Python, Perl, Groovy and Java; developing/supporting web application development or AWS microservices using Node.JS, React.JS, Angular.JS; and working with AWS cloud services including Compute (EC2, Lambda, EBS, Serverless app, Load Balancer), Container (ECS with Docker), DB (RDS,Dynamo,ElastiCache,Aurora), Analytics (Athena, CloudSearch, Elacticsearch), Security (IAM, WAF, Firewall Manager, Network Firewall, Security Group), and Management (CloudWatch, CloudFormation, Auto Scaling, OpsWorks). #LI-DNI.
