Job summary

Tenstorrent is seeking an experienced CPU Architect to shape modeling and validation strategies for high-performance RISC-V CPUs. This hybrid role, based in Austin, TX or Santa Clara, CA, requires over 8 years of related experience and a deep understanding of CPU architecture.

Ideal candidates will lead ISA simulation efforts and collaborate across teams to debug and validate architecture. Competitive compensation ranges from $100k to $500k, commensurate with experience and skills.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years in CPU architectural modeling, ISA simulation, or closely related work.
  • Strong experience building and validating functional models for CPU pipelines and ISA behavior.
  • In-depth understanding of RISC-V ISA behavior and high-performance CPU microarchitecture.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine architectural models for high-performance out-of-order RISC-V CPUs.
  • Build and maintain ISA simulation infrastructure for CPU validation.
  • Debug architectural failures and drive correctness with design and verification teams.
