Job summary

Capital One in McLean, VA is seeking a Staff Engineer to help define the future of banking in the cloud within the Global Payment Network. You will lead architectural decisions for a high-volume, low-latency payments platform powering domestic and international rails.

You will work with senior engineers, ML experts, product managers and leaders to drive modernization and new capabilities, while leveraging cutting-edge AI tooling to accelerate development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years in software engineering and solution architecture.
• Experience with cloud technologies and scalable distributed systems.
