Job summary

Braun Intertec is seeking a geotechnical professional to perform field and laboratory tests, work with engineers, and lead small projects in Kansas City. The role supports proposals, reports, and client relations while gaining experience toward a Professional Engineer license.

Ideal candidates have a civil engineering background with geotechnical emphasis, possible EIT certification, and up to four years of consulting experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with geotechnical, materials emphasis, or related.
• EIT certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Geotechnical field-testing and report writing experience.
• Prior professional consulting experience desired, up to four years.
• Geotechnical experience preferred.

Required Skills

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Perform field related services at least 50% of time
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis and up to 75 lbs. periodically
• Travel up to 25% of time

Required Experience

• Prior professional consulting experience desired, up to four years
• Geotechnical experience preferred
• Proficiency in field-testing & report writing experience
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with geotechnical, materials emphasis, or related #LI-PD1
• Possess EIT certification or ability to obtain within 6 months

Compensation Range

Compensation Range: $50,000.00 - $74,000.00
