About Caring.comCaring.com is a leading senior care marketplace helping millions of families navigate the challenges of aging loved ones. As we modernize our technology stack and customer experience, we’re building a nimble, empowered engineering team that values autonomy, pragmatism, and long-term thinking.
The RoleWe’re hiring a Staff Engineer to act as Tech Lead for our Careseeker Success team. This team owns the systems our internal care advisors use to guide families through complex decisions — a crucial part of our mission.
You’ll lead the technical direction of a team (4–6 engineers) currently replacing our legacy CRM and call center systems with a new platform built on Hubspot and Twilio Flex. By the time you join, the MVP will be shipped — your focus will be on the roadmap of enhancements, refinements, and user-focused improvements. Beyond that, the team will pivot to AI/LLM-based automation, such as auto-generating follow-up emails and exploring AI-driven voice/chat agents.
This is a hands-on role: you’ll contribute code regularly while guiding architecture, mentoring teammates, and collaborating across the org.
