GEICO is hiring a Staff Engineer - Capacity Engineering to lead capacity forecasting across cloud and on-prem environments. You will collaborate with finance, procurement and engineering teams to align forecasts with spend and growth.

The role focuses on workload analysis, quota/subscription management, and developing tools to support capacity planning and optimization across GEICO’s hybrid technology landscape.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in infrastructure, platform, or capacity engineering in large-scale enterprise or hybrid cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of systems that enable capacity forecasting across cloud and OnPrem environments.
• Partner with application and infrastructure teams to optimize workload placement and reduce infrastructure waste.
• Develop and support internal tools and APIs for real-time and forecasted capacity signals.
