Gale Associates, Inc. seeks a Staff Designer for their Bedford, NH office.

As part of the Building Enclosure Consulting and Commissioning Group, the selected candidate will perform essential tasks such as field evaluations and CAD drafting with a focus on building enclosures. The ideal candidate should hold an ABET accredited Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field, alongside practical experience in construction trades.

Qualifications

• ABET accredited Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Construction or Structural Engineering, or in Architecture.
• Practical hands-on knowledge and Co-op experience in the construction trades is desired.
• Must understand basic engineering concepts, principles, codes, and theories.
• Engineering candidates must have passed FE exam or are scheduled to take it.

Responsibilities

• Perform field evaluations and basic engineering in the BECC Group.
• Conduct construction observation and submittal review.
• CAD drafting focusing on building enclosure performance.
