Job summary

LeanData is seeking a Staff Engineer to design and implement the production multi-agent systems at the heart of our autonomous agents platform. In this Staff-level role, you will oversee key components that allow agents to reason over go-to-market data and operate reliably. Ideal candidates will have at least 4 years of experience in production systems, with expertise in LLM-powered systems.

The role requires you to be on-site in Santa Clara on Mondays and Wednesdays and offers a competitive salary ranging from $160,000 to $200,000 base, plus equity.

Qualifications

• 4+ years building production systems, 2+ years shipping LLM-powered or agentic systems.
• Experience with customer-facing LLM or agent systems.
• Strong hands-on experience with modern agent frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship production multi-agent systems end to end.
• Integrate LLMs with routing by task, cost, and latency.
• Design agent memory and retrieval systems.
