Staff ASIC Design Verification Engineer (Technical role)

Micron Technology is a world leader in memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence. This position belongs to the ASIC Verification and Emulation group and focuses on creating advanced verification environments for complex SoC components.

Responsibilities

• Define, develop, debug, and improve innovative design verification environments, methodologies, and flows.
• Build test benches, create verification plans, draft test plans, and define coverage requirements for complex IPs, subsystems, and SoCs.
• Collaborate with architecture, firmware, and design teams to debug and resolve critical issues.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 6–12 years of deep verification experience.
• Hands‑on experience with RTL debugging, scoreboarding, and code coverage analysis.
• Proven expertise in writing and tracking detailed test plans at all levels.
• Strong SystemVerilog and UVM methodology skills; familiarity with C is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with DDR, PCIe/NVMe, or NAND interfaces.
• Expertise in emulation environments.
• Exposure to Gen‑AI tools (e.g., Claude‑Code) and other emerging technologies.

Compensation

US base salary range: $145,000 – $286,000 per year, subject to adjustment based on location, experience, and other factors. Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses, and equity.
