Klaviyo is seeking a Staff Engineer for the Applied AI Customer Agent team in Boston. You’ll set the technical and product direction for a core area, building a 0-to-1 agentic product with startup speed and the scale of a major tech company.

This is a hands-on leadership role: own architecture, production issues, and mentor through design reviews while collaborating with product, data science, and go-to-market teams to ship impactful AI-powered capabilities.

Formación

• Experience building production-grade AI systems and orchestration in a multi-tenant environment.
• Hands-on coding, code reviews, and debugging production issues.
• Ability to mentor engineers and shape design reviews across teams.

Responsabilidades

• Set technical and product direction for a core Customer Agent area.
• Tackle hardest orchestration, evaluation, guardrails and non-deterministic failure challenges.
• Write and ship code, review designs, and make critical architectural decisions.
