Job summary

Greptile in San Francisco, CA, is hiring a software/DevOps engineer to help build autonomous agents that validate code changes by reviewing pull requests in GitHub and enforcing coding standards.

You’ll design, implement, test, and deploy full features, get user feedback, and drive ambitious projects from design through launch. You’ll work in-person with a small, highly capable team on reliable, scalable systems used by thousands of developers.

Qualifications

• B.S. Computer Science or equivalent degree.
• 4+ years of software or DevOps engineering experience.
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Solve some of our hardest and most interesting problems, including LLM memory, multi-language codebase indexing, semantic search for large codebases, and much more.
• Design, implement, test, and deploy full features
• Get user feedback to iterate the features
• Drive ambiguous projects from initial design through launch and operation
• Own a core system or service and ensure it remains reliable as we scale
• Raise the bar for security, reliability, and maintainability across the codebase
• Mentor other engineers and establish strong technical defaults
