Step Up Tutoring is seeking a foundational engineering leader to own our technical strategy and execution, partnering with the CEO and Product Leader to migrate and rebuild our platform using a modern, AI-accelerated approach.

You will join as a partner to our Head of Product, owning the architecture, quality, and stability of the platform while product leads the what and why. This role is foundational to our engineering leadership team.

Responsibilities

• Lead Engineering Strategy & Execution: Own engineering delivery across core platform, internal tools, and integrations.
• Pioneer an AI-Accelerated Engineering Culture: Use AI to accelerate development and establish QA for AI-assisted features.
• Lead Platform Rebuild & Data Migration: Deliver modernization, schema design, migrations, and QA strategy.
• Build Reliable, Scalable Systems: Create platform to support matching, scheduling, messaging, and attendance tracking; ensure monitoring and CI/CD.
