Job summary

R. Joe Harris & Associates Inc. is seeking a Staff Engineer to design and engineer site layouts, drainage, utilities and roadways in the civil land development space.

You will interpret zoning and regulatory requirements, provide technical guidance through design to construction, and collaborate with architects, planners, environmental consultants and other specialists to deliver cohesive client-focused solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in land development and civil site design.
• Working towards licensure and/or are an EIT or PE is preferred (SC and/or NC).
• Strong knowledge of site design, stormwater management, and regulatory processes.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and other engineering software.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to engage with clients and project stakeholders.
