Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Five years of experience in the position offered as a Signal Processing Engineer or related occupation in telecommunications.

Responsibilities

The Staff Engineer will develop advanced algorithms for optimal time of arrival determination and positioning using terrestrial radio navigation signals. This will include optimizing algorithms using simulations and extensive field data and working with software/firmware teams to have the algorithms implemented, verified, and demonstrated on target hardware platforms. They will also develop TerraPoiNT receiver implementations using GNSS receiver expertise, such as acquisition and tracking signals; develop techniques for TerraPoiNT network and receiver performance measurement; develop TerraPoiNT beacon transmitter and receiver implementation using GNSS and other timing sources; develop and implement optimized algorithms in C/C++ for target hardware platforms; and support field tests and customer demos. May telecommute from any location in the US.

Employer will accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field, and five years of experience in the position offered, as a Signal Processing Engineer, or related occupation in the Telecommunications industry.

Salary range: ($140,173 – $168,934 per year)
