The CTS team provides owners with thorough project management – our engineers possess exceptional technical qualifications, and administrative skills in estimating, contracting, reporting, invoicing, and budget management. We review and develop specifications for quality control and quality assurance to ensure construction projects are built per the project Plans and Specifications.

About the Position

CTS is currently looking for an entry to mid-level Staff Engineer to join our growing team in our Sacramento Area office due to our increase in workload.

Requirements/Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Possession of an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) license in Civil Engineering from the California Board of Civil Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Geologists or the ability to obtain one within 6 months of hire.
• Experience in at least some of the following tasks preferred, but not required:

• Materials Testing and Special Inspection
• Geotechnical Engineering Investigations
• Construction Management
• Construction

• Ability to work both independently and in groups
• Willingness to learn and expand technical knowledge
