What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

  1. Develop embedded software solutions from the architectural level down to the hardware
  2. Create software requirements based on system specifications and develop design documentation
  3. Collaborate with Quality, Regulatory, Marketing, and Manufacturing teams to ensure compliance with technical and regulatory standards
  4. Integrate, debug, and test systems while participating in product design reviews
  5. Mentor and direct other engineers within the R&D team

What is Required (Qualifications):

  1. Minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience
  2. Strong programming skills in C and/or C++
  3. Hands-on experience with embedded systems and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) development
  4. Familiarity with communication systems and wireless protocols
  5. Bachelor's Degree or above in Computer Science or Electrical and Computer Engineering

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

  1. Knowledge of I2C, SPI, Flash, EEPROM, and/or USB
  2. Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS)
  3. Familiarity with FDA and other medical regulatory environments
  4. Understanding of Agile or other software development life cycle concepts
  5. Object-oriented programming experience as implemented in C
