Job summary

The Structures Company in Irvine seeks a Staff Electronics Engineer to lead the full PCB design cycle for avionics systems, from requirements and schematic design to layout, bring-up, and validation. You will specify components and wire harnessing, with emphasis on analog, mixed-signal, digital, and RF circuits used in air vehicles.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of electronics design and development experience.
• Experience in complex PCB design, bring-up, signal and power integrity analysis, and validation.
• Strong knowledge of analog, mixed-signal, digital, and RF components.
• Proficiency with Altium and common test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full PCB design cycle from requirements to validation.
• Design, develop, integrate, and debug avionics systems and subsystems for air vehicles.
• Develop interconnect diagrams and define wire harnesses for aircraft systems.
• Conduct peer design reviews with cross-disciplinary teams.
• Apply test equipment for rigorous validation of analog, digital, and RF circuits.
