Corning is hiring a Staff Electrical Systems Engineer based in Corning, NY (preferred) or Charlotte, NC. Relocation assistance is available. Travel averages approximately 50%, primarily within the U.S., with occasional international travel based on business needs. Travel requirements will vary based on project scope and phase and may exceed the average during periods of active project work.
This high-impact role sits on Corning’s Capital Projects and Facilities Engineering team and focuses on the design, analysis, and implementation of industrial electrical power systems for major facility expansions, infrastructure upgrades, greenfield projects, and new equipment installations across the company. You will serve as a corporate technical resource, working across multiple Corning sites to lead and support power-system design, technical reviews, equipment troubleshooting, and project execution from early scoping through commissioning and turnover.

The range for this position is $105,994.00 - $145,743.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
