Job summary

Ideal candidates have Verilog/SystemVerilog or VHDL experience, C/C++ and Python for embedded environments, and a track record in rapid prototyping for diverse projects including laser/quantum communications.

Qualifications

  • B.S./M.S. in Electrical Engineering or Physics with FPGA and embedded systems coursework.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ and Python for embedded environments.
  • Verilog/SystemVerilog or VHDL design experience required.
  • Experience with Vivado, Vitis, Petalinux and Zynq UltraScale+ development desired.

Responsibilities

  • Support development of early prototype systems through FPGA and embedded software.
  • Hardware design, development and test from concept to fielded demonstrations.
  • Experience with rapid prototyping for laser or quantum communications is a plus.
