Job Description

Perform electrical design of projects from the conceptual phase through design completion. Modify and review production drawings for various projects including power plants, healthcare facilities, airports, educational institutions, commercial, and military facilities. Design electrical components based on project requirements and apply industry standards and codes. Conduct research, update drawings, prepare client presentations, and perform field inspections. Domestic travel up to 25% and telecommuting up to 30 days per year are required. Multiple positions available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field from an ABET-accredited program plus 3 years of experience, or Master’s degree plus 2 years.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• At least 1 year of experience in designing substation facilities, working with industry standards such as NESC, IEEE, NFPA, or related.
• Experience with relay drawings, SCADA, fiber-optic or relay communication drawings, grounding, conduit, cable routing, BOM, and vendor review.
