Job summary

CNH is seeking an experienced embedded hardware engineer to design, verify, and mature electronic products from concept through production. You will work on circuits, firmware integration, and hardware verification, coordinating with customers and suppliers to implement robust solutions.

The role demands 8+ years in hardware development, proficiency with Altium/Spice, Python, C/C++, Git, FPGA and microcontroller tech, and a collaborative, cross-functional mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical field with 8+ years of electronic hardware development experience.

Responsibilities

• Research, develop, and evaluate design concepts including materials, specifications, equipment, or machines.
• Evaluate new and existing circuits for appropriate functionality and the ability to pass electrical qualification tests.
• Utilize simulation software and proof-of-concept prototypes as needed to validate new circuits and subsystems.
• Perform hardware verification, driver development, and support manufacturing programming through test flows.
• Determine purpose, application, and feasibility of new or enhancement of existing products or processes.
• Create and update documentation for designs, and all phases of the project.
• Participate in reviews of schematics, layout, IO selection, and hardware requirements for others in the team
• Work with external customers, distributors, vendors, or suppliers to initiate new designs and solve problems.
• Coordinate engineering efforts and provide engineering assistance to internal teams or external customers.
• Keep abreast of new developments in the fields of engineering design, methods, and applications.
• May provide or assist with training needs as it relates to new or existing products or processes.

Job Purpose

Pay Transparency

The annual salary for this role is USD $120,225.00 - $184,345.00 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)

For roles open across multiple locations, the salary range indicated refers to the primary location. If a different location is considered, the applicable salary range will be communicated to candidates prior to the first interview.
