Job summary

BCubed Engineering, an Auria company, is hiring a Staff Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Engineer for a hybrid role in Warrenton, VA. You will design efficient DSP algorithms, develop real-time processing pipelines, and integrate DSP solutions with hardware and software teams.

The role requires 7+ years of DSP experience, strong C/C++/Python skills, CUDA, X-MIDAS, GNU Radio, and a current SECRET clearance. A Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Demonstrated experience with C/C++, GNU Radio, X-MIDAS, CUDA, Python within Unix/Linux environments.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized technologies.
• DSP background with strong understanding of communications systems design and theory.
• Active SECRET Clearance required.

BCubed Engineering, an Auria company, is looking to hire Staff Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Engineer. This is a hybrid role located in our Warrenton, VA office.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO:

• Designing and implementing efficient algorithms and code for digital signal processing applications using C, C++, Python, X-MIDAS, CUDA, and GNU Radio
• Developing and optimizing signal processing pipelines for real-time and offline processing
• Conducting thorough testing and validation of DSP algorithms and software components to ensure robust performance
• Analyzing and debugging complex signal processing issues to improve algorithm efficiency and accuracy
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, software developers, and system engineers to integrate DSP solutions into larger systems
• Providing technical expertise and guidance on DSP methodologies and best practices
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines
• Documenting design specifications, implementation details, and test procedures for DSP software components
• Contributing to continuous improvement of DSP software development processes
• Supporting customer integration and troubleshooting efforts
• Supporting design reviews with customer

WHAT THE TEAM REQUIRES:

• Digital Signal Processing (DSP) background with strong understanding of communication systems design and theory
• Experience in wireless communication theory and modeling to include link budget and sensitivity analysis
• Experience in communications systems development and test
• Active SECRET Clearance - required

PAY TRANSPARENCY:

The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level. $110,000 - $150,000.
