Job summary

Shield AI seeks a senior DevSecOps Engineer to design and implement secure configurations across AWS and cloud platforms. You will automate security controls, build hardened container images, and drive compliance across CI/CD pipelines.

You will partner with Cybersecurity and Build Engineering to translate security requirements into scalable engineering solutions, aiding multiple teams and ensuring reliable developer workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevSecOps, security engineering, or related roles.
• Experience implementing security controls in AWS or another major cloud.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and automated provisioning.
• Experience securing containerized workloads and hardened images.
• Experience integrating security tooling into CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with vulnerability management and compliance tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security controls across AWS infrastructure and platform services.
• Build and maintain hardened container images and secure base images for workloads.
• Integrate vulnerability, dependency, container, and configuration scanning into delivery systems.
• Automate security and compliance checks to reduce manual review.
• Implement secrets management, IAM controls, and access governance across systems.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity and Infosec to translate requirements into scalable controls.
