A leading technology consulting firm is seeking a Staff DevOps Engineer to join their innovative team. This role involves designing and implementing secure cloud infrastructure solutions and automating processes to enhance software delivery. Candidates should have a strong background in Infrastructure as Code and cloud services, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Various worksites—job may allow for remote work; job may involve relocation to anticipated or unanticipated locations across the United States, including client sites and Grid Dynamics’ offices throughout the United States and/or company headquarters located in San Ramon, CA.

Essential functions
· Design, implement, and maintain Complex Cloud Infrastructure Solutions.
· Ensure infrastructure is secure, efficient, and cost-effective, leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools for automated deployment and management.
· End-to-end development and management of CI/CD pipelines.
· Automate build, test, and deployment processes to accelerate software delivery while maintaining quality standards.
· Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
· Automate routine operational tasks using scripting languages Python and Bash, including provisioning infrastructure, configuring environments, and managing deployments.
· Conduct code reviews to uphold coding standards, security practices, and performance optimizations.
· Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues by conducting root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures.
· Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives by evaluating new technologies, implementing solutions, and refining existing workflows.
· Collaborate with development, operations, and other cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and increase efficiency.

Qualifications
· Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
· At least TWO (2) years of experience in the job offered or at least TWO (2) years of experience in the following:
1. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, CloudFormation, and Terragrunt
2. Designing and implementing scalable cloud infrastructures utilizing AWS developer tools and Azure.
3. Automation and configuration management using Ansible and Python
4. CloudWatch.
5. Network management in different cloud environments: Amazon Web Services, Azure and Google Cloud
Two years of experience must include at least ONE (1) year of experience with the following:
