The Staff Development Director is responsible for all aspects of the in-service educational program, including the design of training for nursing and other facility staff. Work includes coordinating with departments to determine educational needs, and means by which those needs can be met, in accordance with established policy. The individual in this role will provide direct instruction and assist instructors with in-service program development and administration.
This position reports directly to the Nursing Home Administrator.
This position is responsible for supervision over the following classifications: Clerical Technician 3 – Nursing Administration and Staff Development Instructors.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE – Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with a Bachelor’s of Nursing degree; AND
CERTIFICATION/LICENSE: Possession of a current and unrestricted RN license in Pennsylvania.
