Starting Pay: $33.50 and up, depending on experience

What You’ll Do:
As the Healthcare Talent Coordinator (HTC) at Friends Homes, you’ll play a key role in promoting a supportive, engaging, and high-performing healthcare team. With the heart of a teacher and a passion for mentoring others, you’ll help develop, educate, and guide our healthcare staff toward excellence.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Serve as a clinical trainer and mentor to healthcare staff
Facilitate clinical orientation and skills assessments for new hires
Support staff through confidential consultations and referrals to HR or EAP when needed
Plan and conduct in-service training across departments
Develop a yearly training calendar for the healthcare services department
Support continuing education efforts and staff development initiatives
Maintain training records and ensure compliance with documentation standards
Collaborate with leadership on retention strategies and employee satisfaction
Participate in interviews, tours, and hiring decisions for healthcare staff
Serve as an on-call nurse as part of a rotation schedule
Promote a person-centered, elder-directed approach to care
Advocate for a positive workplace culture grounded in respect, growth, and quality of life
Requirements:
Required:
Active RN license in good standing with the NC Board of Nursing
Experience in clinical teaching, mentoring, or leadership roles
Strong knowledge of Federal and State regulations for long-term care
Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to lead with compassion, integrity, and professionalism
Must be able to speak, read, and write in English to effectively communicate and complete required tasks, including training and documentation
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
Experience with the Household Model of Care
Background in supervisory or staff development roles
