Job summary

Sarasota Point is seeking an experienced RN to lead and support nursing development within our long-term care and sub-acute care setting. You will collaborate with leadership to design and implement professional development programs, onboarding, and ongoing training.

Ideal candidates will have an active RN license in Florida, at least two years of nursing experience in long-term care, and the ability to guide clinical education and staff development initiatives while ensuring regulatory

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of two years of nursing experience required.
• Experience in long-term care or SNF preferred; clinical education beneficial.
• CDC IPCO certification required or willing to complete within 5 days.

Responsibilities

• Manage the professional development program in a long-term care / sub-acute setting.
• Assist with onboarding, staff training, and regulatory training rollout; ensure compliance.

Requirements:

• Responsible for managing the professional development program in a long-term care and sub-acute care / skilled nursing / short-term rehabilitation setting.
• Assist with onboarding and training new staff, training and facilitation of existing staff, rolling out of new compliance and regulatory training, and ensuring the center remains in compliance with all regulatory, credentialing and educational requirements.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree or above in Nursing (ASN) required.
• Clear and active Registered Nurse (RN) Licensure in the state of practice required.
• Two (2+) years' nursing experience required.
• Long-Term Care or SNF Nursing experience OR Clinical Education and Staff Development experience strongly preferred.
• CDC - IPCO Certification required or must be willing to complete within 5 days of employment.
