Responsibilities include:
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements related to staff credentialing and education.
  • Providing ongoing professional development for staff.
  • Conducting new employee orientation and coordinating competency assessments.
  • Delivering mandatory and continuous education in accordance with regulations and policies.
  • Teaching in-house courses such as CNA training and special care unit training.
  • Coordinating employee health programs, including immunizations and physical exams.
  • Monitoring and maintaining current licensure and certifications of staff.
  • Maintaining employee education, training, and health records.
  • Leading infection prevention efforts as an Infection Preventionist.
