Job summary

Charlestown Place in New Albany, IN is seeking a Staff Development Coordinator to lead nursing staff development in our Skilled Nursing Community. You will support the CNA Program Director, oversee training, supervision, and testing to ensure high-quality resident care.

The role offers competitive pay ($78,000 - $90,000 per year) and a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional on-call, plus benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in IN or KY
• Nursing degree or completion of nursing program
• Long-Term Care experience

Responsibilities

• Support the CNA Program Director in the professional development and oversight of nursing staff, including the training, supervision, and testing
• Coordinate with state testing agencies, maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, and ensure ongoing staff education through in-service training and orientation
• Oversee infection prevention, monitoring the quality of resident care, ensuring residents' rights are upheld
• Participate in care planning and maintaining accurate documentation
• Promote interdepartmental collaboration, participating in survey processes, and contributing to policy development
