Job summary

Family HealthCare Network in California seeks a Staff Dentist to deliver comprehensive dental care in a patient-centered health home setting. You will conduct exams, review radiographs, histories, and determine diagnoses, while documenting visits and meeting productivity and quality metrics.

You will educate patients and collaborate with specialists as needed. This role requires a DDS/DMD or equivalent license, advanced Microsoft Office skills, and a focus on providing excellent patient service

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge through graduate-level study or active professional license.
• DDS/DMD degree typically required for clinical practice in dentistry.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct dental services meeting productivity expectations.
• Conduct comprehensive exams with review of x-rays and histories to diagnose.
• Document visits accurately using templates and record data for diagnoses.
• Attain budgeted visits and meet clinical care measures.
• Maintain records within required 72-hour window.
• Conduct diagnostic, preventive and restorative procedures as needed.
• Educate patients on prevention and healthy dental care.
• Refer to specialists when appropriate to higher-level care.
• Provide excellent customer service and care to patients and families.
