The dentist will diagnose and treat dental diseases, document encounters in the records, and coordinate with specialists as needed, while promoting accessibility for underserved populations.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed in North Carolina (DDS/DMD) and in good standing.
• Graduate of a US-accredited dental school.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a Patient Centered Medical Home model and community health setting.
• Willingness to commute between CRCHC sites.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat dental diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth and gums.
• Educate patients on oral health care and prevention.
• Perform diagnostic procedures and document findings in the dental chart.
• Discuss treatment options and obtain patient consent.
• Extract, restore, or treat dental disease as needed.
• Maintain accurate dental records and coordinate with specialists when required.
