Job summary

Stord is the Consumer Experience Company enabling seamless checkout through delivery for leading brands, with a cloud-based supply chain platform. We are seeking a Staff Data Scientist to own high-impact modeling efforts across demand forecasting, delivery time estimation, pricing analytics, and customer profiling while collaborating with product and engineering teams.

You will drive the data science stack, establish best practices, and lead technical conversations with leadership on investments

Qualifications

• Expert-level Python programming with production code experience.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with Postgres/BigQuery.
• Deep understanding of statistics and machine learning fundamentals.
• Experience deploying and operating models in production, including monitoring and retraining.

Responsibilities

• Own complex modeling problems end-to-end from framing to production deployment.
• Write production-quality code that integrates with existing services and is maintainable by others.
• Define and implement standards for model development, deployment, monitoring, and retraining.
• Embed with engineering teams to deploy models as microservices or API endpoints.
