Job summary

Stord is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and data warehouses across our data platforms. You will work with engineering, data science, and product teams to deliver reliable data solutions and enable data-driven decisions.

The role emphasizes data quality, governance, and collaboration, with opportunities to mentor junior teammates and contribute to ML data preparation.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
Proven ability to build and maintain data pipelines and data warehouses.
Experience with cloud platforms, preferably GCP.
Experience with SQL and data modeling.
Experience with data transformation tools such as dbt, or similar.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using modern data engineering tools.
Help drive re-architecture of our data warehouse to improve performance, scalability, and data quality.
Implement data cleansing, transformation, and validation processes for accuracy and consistency.
Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and product managers to define data requirements and models.
Document data pipelines and data models for knowledge sharing and maintainability.
Mentor and guide the data team to promote data-driven decision-making.
