Job summary

Mozilla is seeking a Staff Data Scientist for its Ads organization in New York. The role partners with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Finance to identify high-impact opportunities and build end-to-end analyses that inform product and business decisions.

Responsibilities include developing measurement frameworks, translating complex findings for executives, and driving decisions in a fast-moving environment. Strong Python and SQL skills required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or applied quantitative roles.
• Experience with digital advertising or monetization is preferred.
• Ability to communicate complex findings to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a lead Data Science partner for Mozilla Ads, identifying high-impact opportunities.
• Own end-to-end analyses from framing questions to validating results and communicating recommendations.
• Develop measurement frameworks for new advertising products, including metrics and reporting.
• Analyze advertising revenue and performance to guide product and business decisions.
