Pinterest is seeking a Staff Data Scientist for Ads Delivery to shape the future of our advertising products. You will build scalable ML systems, run experiments, and apply causal inference to drive impact across product and business teams.

You will mentor scientists, collaborate with cross-functional partners, and help translate complex data questions into actionable insights while contributing to a diverse, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in web-scale data environments.
• Deep expertise in machine learning, causal inference, and experimentation.
• Strong programming in Python/R with advanced SQL/Spark.

Responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of Pinterest ads delivery and quantify opportunities and risks across the funnel.
• Lead projects on ads delivery opportunities across funnel stages.
• Design and productionize scalable ML and evaluation frameworks for forecasting, recommendation, and causal inference.
• Advocate for best-in-class experimentation, instrumentation, and metric design.
