Job summary

Frontier AI & Robotics is seeking engineers to build and maintain data infrastructure powering robotics manipulation research. You will partner with platform engineers to turn raw robot session data into curated, trainable episodes, driving streaming ingestion, schema design, and data quality controls on a cloud-native stack.

You will collaborate with researchers as close customers in a fast iteration culture, delivering scalable data systems for real-world robotics deployment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of owning the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
• Strong software engineering background with full-stack development experience.
• Expertise in distributed systems, cloud computing, and scalable data processing.
• Experience with data pipeline design, ETL processes, and data management systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the data infrastructure that powers robotics manipulation research.
• Extend systems that turn raw robot session data into curated, trainable episodes.
• Own streaming ingestion pipelines, platform/schema design, heterogeneous data sources, data quality controls.
• Provide researchers and human annotators with usable dataset tooling on a modern cloud-native stack.
• Work closely with researchers as collaborators in a fast iteration environment.
