Job summary

CDK Global, LLC seeks a Staff Software Engineer to design and implement large-scale data engineering and ETL architectures. The role focuses on cloud migration across Azure and AWS, building enterprise data processing systems, and modernizing legacy pipelines.

You will lead ETL infrastructure work, collaborate with CRM and security teams, and mentor engineers on data modeling and pipeline optimization. On-site Austin location with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field with 8+ years experience in software development
Experience designing ETL and data integration solutions across Azure and AWS
Proficiency with SQL Server, SSIS, and cloud data services for enterprise data platforms

Responsibilities

Architect and implement enterprise ETL and data processing systems in cloud environments
Lead migration of on-premise ETL workloads to Azure Data Factory and AWS Glue
Collaborate with data platform, CRM, and security teams to deliver scalable data solutions
Design data models, ingestion frameworks, and transformation logic for CRM workflows
Mentor engineers on cloud ETL, data modeling, and performance optimization
