Sift, the data infrastructure platform for hardware engineering teams, is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to build a scalable data platform that ingests millions of hardware sensor data points per second and supports real-time reads and large-scale analytics.

You'll shape data architecture, engineering standards, and scaling strategies with peers, and collaborate on architecture, code reviews, and distributed systems using Go, Rust, PostgreSQL, and cloud-native tooling.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or another STEM discipline.
• 7+ years of backend, infrastructure, or data engineering experience preferred.
• Hands-on experience with streaming systems and distributed data platforms.

Responsabilidades

• Design a scalable platform for ingesting millions of hardware sensor data points per second.
• Develop database solutions for real-time reads and large-scale analytics workloads.
• Shape data architecture, engineering standards, and scaling strategies with peers.
