Job summary

Sift is hiring a Software Engineer to build and maintain full-stack features for its telemetry data platform. You will work on interfaces for exploring large real-time datasets and backend APIs, collaborating with frontend and data platform teams to design scalable services.

The role requires 3+ years in full-stack development using React, NextJS, TypeScript, Go, Rust, and Python, with strong database knowledge and a focus on performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development.
• Experience building production applications with React, NextJS, TypeScript, Go, Rust, and Python.
• Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Druid, Pinot, Timescale).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Build full-stack features across the web application and data-processing backend.
• Create interfaces for exploring large real-time datasets and implement streaming APIs.
• Collaborate with frontend and data platform teams on service design and implementation.
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in technical design discussions.
