Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking a Staff Data Engineer to lead the data engineering and architecture behind our security data platform. You will own the data model, drive contracts for pipelines, and move critical data pipelines into production to support risk enrichment and posture metrics.

The role requires deep distributed data experience, excellent communication, and the ability to guide technical direction across a large engineering organization. Prior AWS experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience with Spark and large-scale data pipelines.
• Proficiency in Java, Python or Scala.
• Deep expertise in Data Principles, Data Architecture & Data Modeling, strong SQL skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the data engineering and data architecture behind the security data platform.
• Own the data model and the pipeline contracts other teams build against.
• Move pipelines from prototype to production that the business depends on.
