Job summary

Fireworks is seeking a Member of Technical Staff, Data to build business-critical data pipelines as our data platform scales. You will partner with business teams and data platform engineers to design data models, implement pipelines, productionize datasets, and ensure analytics can act decisively.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in data engineering, strong SQL, and a track record of delivering reliable data infrastructure. Office presence in San Mateo 3 days a week is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data engineering or similar roles.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and pipeline jobs.
• Experience translating business needs into metrics, dimensions, and a data model.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining production data pipelines.
• Excellent communication with senior stakeholders, technical and non-technical.
• Autonomy in an environment with open ended problems.
• Availability to work in office in San Mateo 3x days per week.
