Paradigm Health is seeking a Staff Engineer for the Data Engineering team to lead the data platform architecture and delivery. You will own end-to-end data pipelines, data models, and tooling, partnering with product, AI, and infra teams to advance clinical data capabilities.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, mentorship of engineers, and advancing a modular data platform in a cloud environment, enabling scalable analytics and AI use cases.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering/architecture.
• Strong SQL, data modeling and analytics foundations.
• Proven experience with distributed systems and cloud environments.
• Experience with Spark or Flink for batch/micro-batch analytics.
• Advocates data mesh design principles to build data products.

Responsibilities

• Drive large cross-team initiatives within engineering from start to production.
• Architectural alignment at the company level and define best practices.
• Own data pipelines and the data model for the platform.
• Build and maintain batch and streaming pipelines using cloud services.
• Improve monitoring and observability across data infrastructure.
• Mentor engineers and shape the data platform roadmap.
