Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Clearfield, UT is seeking a Staff Systems Engineer – Data & Analytics Lead (level 5) to join our team supporting ICBM-Sustainment. The role leads cross-discipline data and analytics efforts, building models, dashboards, and data pipelines for weapon system insights.

The candidate will work with DoD customers, develop predictive analytics, and present findings to Air Force leadership. A DoD Secret clearance and strong communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM required; extensive experience preferred.
• 4 years building data models and visualizations for large data sets.
• 4 years coding with Python or R for complex analytics.
• 3+ years leading cross-discipline teams and mentoring engineers/analysts.
• Experience developing predictive or statistical models for performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical lead on cross-discipline teams guiding data solutions.
• Develop approaches to analyze weapon system data with statistics.
• Analyze failure and sustainment data to provide actionable insights.
• Design data models, tools, and visualizations to improve data processes.
• Brief leadership on status of data, assessments, and projects.
• Engage with Air Force customers to translate needs into data-driven insights.
